Sale of Mobile Digital Media business allows for greater focus on expansion in office software for wireless users

Dallas, Texas – September 22, 2005 – Quickoffice®, Inc., a worldwide leader in providing innovative office document software for mobile professionals, announced today that it has completed the sale of its Mobile Digital Media business (MDM) — the development and publishing of consumer mobile applications — to FILAO Americas, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of INFRAWORLDS, SA.

Quickoffice will use the proceeds from the transaction to focus on the development and growth of productivity software for the mobile professional. Along with its proprietary technologies, worldwide distribution and strong operational management, Quickoffice is positioning itself to play a critical role in driving the trend in worldwide wireless connectivity.

“The sale of our MDM business is an important step in enabling Quickoffice to more effectively focus on our worldwide opportunities in developing mobile productivity solutions,” said Alan Masarek, Quickoffice President and CFO. “We’re confident this will allow us to focus our resources and OEM relationships on the rapidly growing smartphone market.”

“The Mobile Digital Media business excels in wireless entertainment content and will be a valuable asset to our company. This transaction, along with INFRAWORLDS’ acquisition of 995SOFT, strengthens our position in the consumer mobile market, and diversifies our distribution options” said INFRAWORLDS President Alain Staron.

The multiple award-winning Quickoffice Premier is the company’s flagship handheld software product.
