New version demonstrates continued product leadership
Dallas, Texas- October 11, 2005 - Quickoffice, Inc., a leading provider of innovative portable computing solutions for the mobile professional, today announced a demo version of its Quickoffice Premier v 3.6 for UIQ 3 at The Smartphone Show in London. The new software release will provide users with easy and fast access to their existing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files on the now publicly available software platform UIQ 3.
The new 3.6 version of Quickoffice Premier features added support for UIQ 3, plus additional enhancements for document handling and functionality. Quickoffice Premier v.3.6 for UIQ 3 gives the global professional the ability to open, view, edit and create documents such as contracts, business plans, sales presentations, or financial reports directly from their UIQ based mobile phones.
