SYMBIAN TO DEMO QUICKOFFICE® PREMIER APPLICATIONS AT 3GSM

Mobile enterprise document solutions offer desktop quality document integrity

Quickoffice is showcasing their award winning Quickoffice applications for Series 60 and UIQ mobile phones at the Symbian Enterprise pod at Stand B11, Hall 1.

The latest Quickoffice applications offer users a comprehensive file management solution to view, edit and create Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations anytime, anywhere on their Symbian mobile handsets. While away from their computer, users can still view or edit contracts, agreements, business plans, sales presentations, financial reports, and access all their existing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and text files from e-mail attachments, external memory cards or MMS messages.

Documents opened on a Symbian smartphone display all the original formatting including boldface, italics, varying font sizes, compatible spreadsheet formulas, presentation graphics and more. These same elements are preserved even after edits have been made so that when the user, or recipient, reopens the edited file on a desktop PC, it is indistinguishable from one sent from a computer. All the elements of the original document are combined with the edits made on the Symbian phone to create a final document that can be sent directly to business colleagues, clients, or the user's own PC for further viewing or editing.
